They’ve been so helpful to us to get us to the airport and take care of our car while we are away.  Thanks Auggie &amp;amp; Lynn!  You are a blessing to us!  Tara, we love you VERY much! It’s amazing to realize how time really does seem to fly as one gets older!  FALL, it’s our favorite time of the year.  We get to see the Master painter work His canvas into breath taking colors of gold, yellow, orange and red.  It’s also humbling to realize; all this He made for mankind, for you and for me!  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The other day we saw a small sign on the internet; &lt;br/&gt;A Point to Ponder:               &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;As we give thanks we count each one of you reading this article and many more who may not get to as blessings in our lives.       <title>Settling In - September 2011    </title>

      <description>t's wonderful to be back home in America but was hard to leave what is becoming our home in Zambia too.  We were able to finish 4 earthbag buildings this time and Frank had started on an addition for our faithful worker Tommy who's family increased to six while we were there.  Little 'Progress Phiri' was born in July.  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Ministry was blessed.  Before we left Jack baptized five of our workers after two months of Chronological Bible Storying with them.  Two of their wives also made decisions and were baptized in the lake on the farm along with their husbands.  It was all a BIG celebration that our volunteers from Amarillo got to share with us.  We are SOOOO grateful for Frank being there again this year.  He's had another amazing experience i'm sure.  He delivered 6 Jack Russell puppies while we took our volunteers on Safari and has been seeing after the puppies since we left.  I'm sure he'll have lots to share when he returns in October.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Jack had the joy of attending a 46 year class reunion in Mauriceville, Texas recently.  It was fun for Judi to stand by and watch and listen!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;2011 group - standing (as close as possible)                     Class of 1965 Mauriceville High Scholl&lt;br/&gt;where they did 46 years ago.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Thanks so much for your prayers and support as we travel now in the States, sharing about how God is working in Zambia AND letting us be a part of it!  AMAZING!  Raising support is all new to us, please keep this prayer need second from the top for us.  First would be that we will seek first His Kingdom and righteousness and He promises the rest will be added!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Serving Him with Gladness, &lt;br/&gt;Jack and Judi&lt;br/&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://help4hopeafrika.com/&quot;&gt;help4hopeafrika.com&lt;/a&gt; &lt;br/&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;mailto:help4hopeafrika@pobox.com/&quot;&gt;help4hope@pobox.com&lt;/a&gt;</description>

We stayed for a 2 hr meeting afterwards!  Had a young peace corps girl w/ us. We were so proud of how prob's were handled. Praise God for the maturity we are seeing there!  Please you all pray fervently for Kedrick &amp;amp; for Masansa church's witness to him.  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;    Also please please pray for marriages in this farming area.  This is a very secluded &amp;amp; difficult place for young vivacious women &amp;amp; men to live &amp;amp; find usefulness &amp;amp; happiness.  We are on our KNEES for one of these families!  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;    Praise God from whom all blessings flow!.  After 2 mo. Of bible study w/ our workers 5 non believers have come to know &amp;amp; give their lives to Jesus Christ.  One 53 yrs old.  PTL! WE thank God for that! Also it so encourages us to see fruit from our efforts!  The angels are singing in heaven today! &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;    So much to do here!  He's bringin em in &amp;amp; we r love'n on them &amp;amp; sharing God's word.  The Holy Spirit does the rest!  &lt;br/&gt;    Pray for the borehole we've waited for so long they've now drilled in two places &amp;amp; have only got a trickle of water!  He will return for the cost of fuel to drill again. Who knows when?&lt;br/&gt;    After finishing our 3rd bldg. project we decided it was time for a rest. We had a very eventful train &amp;amp; bus ride to Dar Eslaam, Tanzania starting with the heavy train window falling on Judi's arms, the blankets that smelled of urine, then train delay because of another train ahead wrecked in the mountains ahead.  We hired a boy with a bike to take our luggage to the bus stop area as we followed him through village pathways.  We waited with other Africans for our 8 hour bus ride ahead.  Praise God for our limited remembrance of Swahili.  You can only imagine the experience of being packed in like sardines as people stood jammed in the isles pressed against us as we sat!  There was a rooster in the open luggage compartment above Jack. At one point in the trip as he slept he felt a warm wet blob hit his forehead &amp;amp; slide beside his nose narrowly missing his mouth to make it's home on his shirt!  An entertaining distraction for fellow travelers!  All in all our days are blessed &amp;amp; protected by your prayers and we are enjoying our rest when we FINALLY arrived our destination 30 hours late! &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Even as we rest here we have numerous opportunity to 'live' &amp;amp; 'speak' Christ &amp;amp; His love.  Pray for us to follow &amp;amp; reflect the 'most excellent way':. &amp;quot;if I speak in the tongues of men &amp;amp; of angels but have not love I am like a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal...&amp;quot; 1 Cor. 13:1&lt;br/&gt;In His Love, jack &amp;amp; judi&lt;br/&gt;Mkushi,  Zambia &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;</description>

      <title>Quit Prayin!  You’re freezing us to death! </title>

      <description>We are REALLY suffering here!  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Sometime ago we’d asked some of our friends to pray that we’d be able to handle the heat in Africa, so we guess many folks figure we are burning hot here.  Well it WAS warm and very humid (rainy season) from Feb. to April but the end of April the rains stopped promptly and autumn is blowing in.  Mornings are 54 degrees fahrenheit (12 celsius).  We go to bed with the windows open and under a mosquito net but close a window and pull the covers up during the night.  So those of you who have been praying about this heat thing can ‘change subjects’!  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;</description>
